Dhammakaya Meditation Center Kansas is a non-profit religious organization registered in the State of Kansas since 2014 and is one of the 16 branches of Dhammakaya Denomination in the United States.
The word, ‘Dhammakaya’ is a Pali word meaning ‘body of dharma’ or the body of enlightenment. The Denomination is dedicated to teach and promote Buddhist religious practices and to restore harmony to the world through inner peace.
DMCKS is a part of the worldwide
Dhammakaya Foundation, originating from our parent Temple, the Wat Phra Dhammakaya. Headquartered in Thailand. DMCKS also is an organization under group tax exempt of Dhammakaya International Meditation Center.
Dhammakaya Foundation is one of the country’s most recognized Buddhist denominations. The Foundation was also granted status as a non-governmental organization having international collaboration with the United Nations and the World Health Organization. Currently, the Foundation has more than 105 domestic branches in Thailand and a growing number of international branches including the following:

We define ourselves also as a religious organization promoting world peace and moral principles based upon our religious and humanitarian beliefs. Our main activities are to teach Buddhist meditation, provide moral education and conduct religious worship services.
We have a meditation class for people who are interested. Teaching monks will guide you from the basics so that you can practice meditation easily. Learning wisdom and sharing experiences are beneficial in daily life for us from this class. We hope everyone will truly gain inner peace from learning and practicing meditation.
